We are seeking an experienced and strategic leader to become the Chair of the Audit & Risk Management Group (ARMG). This rewarding voluntary appointment is an excellent opportunity for a senior professional to contribute their expertise in governance, audit, finance and risk management to support the work of the Diocese.
The ARMG advises the Diocesan Board of Finance on matters relating to:
- Financial oversight and accountability
- Internal controls and audit processes
- Organisational risk management
- Compliance with the Board's statutory and governance responsibilities
As Chair, you will lead the Group, ensuring it operates effectively, is well organised, and delivers robust advice to the Board.
We are looking for someone with:
- Senior-level leadership experience
- Strong understanding of audit, risk management, finance or governance
- Excellent chairing and stakeholder engagement skills
- The ability to provide independent oversight and constructive challenge
- A commitment to supporting the mission and values of the Diocese
